Tenka Japanese Shabu Shabu

So yung hubbidubs ko trineat ako as a late Mother's Day gift ^_^ at dahil mahilig kami sa buffet ito ang aming pinagkainan:

Tenka Japanese Shabu Shabu

This is our 2nd visit, and favorite nadaw ni hubbidubs ang Tenka because it's "sulit".

Kakaiba syang buffet kasi Shabu Shabu siya. So ano nga ba ang Shabu Shabu?

So Soup, ganern.
Left: Japanese Pork Bone Soup | Right: Satay Soup

Unli Sahog and Unli Sabaw
Sa Tenka walang grilling involved like sa Yakimix. Instead, pipili ka ng type of hotpot or soup na gusto mo which comes with 1 free side dish. Ang pinili naming sabaw ay Satay and Japanese Pork Bone Soup. And ang free side dish namin is Hand-Rolled Maki.
California Hand-Rolled Maki

Satay soup was tasty. Nutty flavored siya at hindi maanghang. Unlimited nga pala ang sahog, ask for assistance lang and they'll bring you what you want: veggies, thinly sliced meat, seafood, etc.

The rule lang is pag nalagay na yung sahog sa soup you're required ubusin. Like with all buffets, may bayad ang leftovers. So don't make iwan-iwan, make ubos-ubos. Panagutan na ang takaw-tingin.

Salad and Dessert Buffet

Yung soup kasi and sahog dinadala sa table by request, pero yes eat-all-you-can.

Our favorite dish sa salad bar is their Seaweed salad. May konting vinegar and spices na naglalaro sa pallet. Distinct and reminds me of the jellyfish dish at HapChan.

My personal favorite sa dessert bar naman is the cheesecake. Angcharap, i like it so much i wish meron silang big version na pwedeng i-take out.

Almost forgot, may Ice Cream buffet din sila, 7 flavors available kaya ayun... nag-Tasmanian Devil yung anak ko.

Damage Sa Bulsa
Okay, so aftermath ng table is limos na ang plates. Sa Tenka walang difference sa weekday or weekend buffets, though on Sundays & Holidays pricier.

Here's their menu price:
Grabbed from Zomato

Since dalawa kami ng hubbidubs ko, here is my computation (di namin nakuha receipt sa pagmamadaling maubusan ng bus sa Ayala, you know naman how zombies are coming there.)
500 - 800 php Per Person

Quality o Kakulangan

In short, mamahalin dione!
