After ihatid ang anak sa school, imbis na umuwi o mag-antay sa waiting area where parents die of boredom or evolve into chika masters, nag-gala nalang kami sa Pacita Avenue.
At first sight mukang pang-BGC ang peg niya. Pagpasok sa loob, ramdam ko na... "Ah, kayang kayang ubusin ang 2 hrs dito. Pwedeng tambayan to, pwede-pwede.."
Besides coffee, of course may desserts and pasta dishes and sandwich. Surprsingly, may rice meal and it's Chicken Karaage. Dahil hunger na si husbun, ayown ang first order.
Sa coffee sinubukan namin bestseller nila na Mocha Frappe and then, for something new, Naughty Hazel (hazelnut). Mahilig kasi sa naughty ang hubby ko, kaya with a bit of taas kilay i made bayad na.
In fairness pinag-isipan at mukang dream cafe ang business na ito. Meron pa silang tambayan area for dabarkads.
And like with the uso these days, di mawawalan ng lugar ang Hugot lines. They have a place for it here, literally. Tingnan niyo:
*Balik sa pagkain: Masarap yun chicken. Kita mo ba sa baba sa picture? Hindi. Kase...ubos na, kase nga masarap. Pero...may natikman na akong kasing sarap for less the price, sorry Wagamama, please don't hate me. Still, yung serving, presentation and lasa... so worth it.
Pak na pak kay hubbidubs yung mocha frappe at inlove naman ako sa hazelnut nila. As in sip lang para di agad maubos, ninanamnam ko eh.
And since matagal na kaming di nag ddate naisip ko, tutal sweldo ko rewardan ko na sarili ko. So ayun bumalik ako sa counter at kasama ko na siya:
Meet Blueberry Cheesecake slice. Small slice lang na I wish mas malaki pa, if not 20 pesos cheaper, huhu. Ang price niya is 110 php, mala-starbucks.
Ang naibigan ko dito ay yung crust. Naalala ko kasi ang cake ng Mami dear. Yung medyo tutong sa dulo kaya may crunchy. Huhuhu...kay sarap. Sa sarap handa kong hiwalayan asawa ko para sa isang box ng ganito. (Mahilig kasi ako sa cakes and sweets so...you can downplay my judgement para di kayo masyado mag-expect.)
All in all, here's the damage. Walang receipt, forgot to ask and na-busy kakanpocture. Nahiya nanga ako muka akong ewan sa pagpipicture:

Although masarap, at masarap talagang tumambay at feeling mayaman at walang publema sa buhay tayo dito, di siya pwede pang araw araw. Mga once in two weeks lang siguro para may pang gala pa tayo. Di pwedeng laging lamon, kamusta naman sa katawan at bulsa yon diba?
